Bob
Fowler has over 23 years experience in the railroad and real estate
fields. As general attorney for the Illinois Central railroad company,
he handled that company's major contract negotiations, including
real estate conveyances, leases, fiber optic easements, acquisitions,
industrial development and mortgage financing. His experience stretches
from the real estate area to his final capacity with the railroad
as officer in charge of the line rationalization program of the
railroad. In that capacity, he was charged with the authority for
the disposition of line sales to newly formed regional carriers.
Presently, Mr. Fowler supervises sales and management of real estate
properties
Mr. Fowler is a lawyer with a J.D. degree and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
He is also a licensed real estate broker and a certified real estate
appraiser. In addition, he has completed courses dealing in
contract negotiation, land titles, eminent domain and real estate
insurance. Mr. Fowler is a member of the American, Illinois, and
Chicago Bar Associations, American Corporate Counsel Institute,
International Right of Way Association, American Arbitration Association

Arthur
Spiros has 24-years experience in railroad real estate, specializing
in the areas of closings, title evaluation, sales, appraisals and
taxation. He has organized and managed real estate inventory
records, land titles, and legal documentation relating to railroad's
land holdings and title chain. Mr. Spiros has also been active in
dealing with the administration of railroad taxation, including
direct contact with state and local agencies in connection with
tax divisions and assessments. In connection therewith, he
has also handled railroad and land valuation and appraisals for
state tax assessments, and he has completed the appraisals of several
regional and short line carriers. He is presently in charge of real
estate closings.
Mr. Spiros received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural
Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition,
he has completed graduate level studies in the fields of property
management and real estate appraisal. Mr. Spiros is currently
a licensed real estate salesperson and a certified real estate appraiser.
He is a member of the American Railway Development Association and
